Mateo Galindo Torres

Mateo Galindo Torres Originally from Colombia, Mateo Galindo Torres started his training at Petipa, Escuela de Danza. In 2006 he traveled to USA to take the Omaha Theater Ballet winter course. In 2007, he traveled to Cuba to study at Laura Alonso’s school Pro Danza, and joined Neo Tango as a dancer and choreographer. In 2010, he performed with the Ballet de Barranquilla and traveled to Canada to join The School of Toronto Dance Theatre where he performed for choreographers such as Marc Boivin, Peter Chin, Jennifer Dallas, Christopher House, Louis Laberge-Côté, Sharon B. Moore, Julia Sasso, Heidi Strauss, and Darryl Tracy. In 2011, he attended the ProArte Danza Summer intensive, working with Roberto Campanella and Robert Glumbek, joined Typecast Company, performing works by Pamela Rasbach, and performed with Dilan Dance Company, a work by Fethi Karakecili. In 2012, he performed for Kokus Productions, Cadence Bridges Ballet in a piece by Kunal Ranchod, and 3 is Company in a piece by Hanna Kiel.
