Behrouz Bakhtiari

Behrouz started his musical journey at the delicate age of 8 when he attended Mr. Naser Nazar’s Orff classes at Pars Music Institute. Since then, music has been playing a big role in his life, never ceasing to open doors for him into exciting and magical worlds.

Behrouz is a pianist as well as a clarinetist. He has been teaching the piano and clarinet to kids and young adults (occasionally also adults) for more than 15 years now. In addition to that, he co-ran and co-directed a very successful and praised children’s choir for about 7 years when he was teaching at Pars Music Institute in Iran.

As a performer, he has worked with many a great musician, has appeared on numerous stages in Iran, Sweden and Canada, and has collaborated in the recording of many albums. At Sarv, Behrouz directs the academy’s choir. His mantra for the job is “Happiness is singing in the choir” (borrowed respectfully from Charlie Brown!). He is also the clarinet teacher at the Sarv Music Academy.

Against all odds, Behrouz holds a PhD in Business Administration and does not completely rule out the happiness coming out of it!
