Golnesa Amani

Golnesa Amani is a dancer, educator and community facilitator who creates work that centres the storyteller. Whether through movement, music, or language, Amani views creative exploration as the site for collective skill sharing and alternative pedagogy. She is one of  the co-founder and Director of Boostan Multicultural Collective, an artist-run organization that aims to provide creative and socially engaged programming for youth. Since 2013, Amani has facilitated educational cultural workshops for Tirgan Festival, the ROM, the YRDSB and the TDSB. Amani has performed nationally and internationally, including the 2^nd International Iranian Dance Conference in Cambridge, MA and with Khorshid Khanoom Dance Group, based in Montreal.
