Shahab Baradaran

Shahab Baradaran is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. His band, the Circle, is a Toronto-based group with a unique fusion of jazz and pop with elements of traditional Persian music. Using classical and contemporary poetry from Rumi to Sepehri as the base for lyrics, Shahab has performed and recorded his original works in collaboration with Reza Moghaddas, Saman Shahi, Peter Luteck and many other artists, and released several albums including “Beyond The Seas”, “My Enigma”, and “Say Nothing!” Shahab Baradaran is also an experienced instructor in teaching adults and children. He has many years of expertise in classical and electric guitar, song-writing and is sophisticated in classic rock, psychedelic rock, blues, and fusion pop-jazz music. Shahab teaches private guitar lessons as well as directs the pop-music band at Sarv Music Academy.
