Nahal Bahrman

Nahal Bahrman is a visual artist whose work spans over 15 years and includes a variety of media such as children book illustration, animation, painting, drawing, and photography. A graduate from Azad University with a Master of Fine Art in 2000, Bahrman has been living in Toronto since 2006. Her work has been displayed in a number of galleries in Toronto as well as galleries in Iran. Her particular dedication to the art of children book illustration has led to a number of initiatives here in Toronto. Currently, she is the Art Curator for the Canadian Society of Children's Authors, Illustrators and Performers (CANSCAIP).

Bahrman’s recent projects involved illustrations for “The Liar Shepherd”, while she continues to express her interest in the female form through projects such as “Edge of the Seats”, a series that was recently on display at the Gladstone Gallery.
