Born and raised in Tehran, Leila Sadri graduated with a Masters degree in Architecture in 2002 from the University of Art in Isfahan, Iran. Excelling in roles as a designer, project manager and planner on many projects, from small residential buildings to comprehensive city plans, she rose to become a management representative and partner for seven years, focusing on strategic planning and running quality management systems in her workplace.
After moving to Toronto in 2013, she had some part-time collaboration with ALEPH-BAU architecture studio. She also joined LOTUS WONDERS in 2015 as CEO, a social enterprise which is committed to achieve women’s economic empowerment. Art and culture, children and new approaches in education are the causes she most cares about. After her first collaboration with ARCHI [KID] Global team in summer 2017, she was immediately captivated by their strong aim to provide an educational platform to educate children by means of architecture.
Following this new passion, as the ARCHI [KID] program representative in Toronto, she implemented many workshops in public and private schools in the GTA and subsequently joined the ARCHI [KID] team as the co-founder of ARCHI [KID]Toronto in summer 2018.
