Thank you for your interest in Tirgan’s Nowruz Festival 2020.
Over the years, Tirgan has showcased a wide range of artistic programs from a variety of disciplines including music, visual arts, theatre, film, dance, literature, and other programs. In addition to hosting the most influential artists of our time, Tirgan is proud to have introduced many emerging artists.
Tirgan offers an opportunity to artists from around the world to present their work that relates to Iranian arts and culture. For Nowruz 2020, we accept applications in Music, Dance, Theatre, Film, Visual Arts, and Kids & Youth activities and workshops.
Applicants must use the form on this page to submit their work for consideration by the Programming Committee of the festival.
Deadline Extended
Applications must be submitted no later than Wednesday, December 25, 2019.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The selection process is not a judgment of the applicant’s capabilities, or the artistic merit of the submitted work. The festival’s Programming Committee follows a set of guidelines that include but are not limited to the following:
– Applications considered must be in line with the festival theme, available resources, budget, facilities, as well as the Programming Committee and the Advisory Board’s recommendations. If your work is not included in our program, this does not imply any prejudice whatsoever towards the submitted works.
– Due to the multitude and variety of applications, Tirgan Programming Committee will not be able to respond to all applicants. Should your application fit the criteria noted above, and be considered for inclusion in the festival, an authorized representative will contact you by no later than Friday, January 31, 2020, to review the terms and conditions and other details that would be necessary to finalize the invitation process to Nowruz 2020.
Initial consideration and discussion does not imply automatic inclusion in the festival.
