Born in Tehran, Iran, Ali Akbar Ghorbani attended masterclasses in composition with Farhad Fakhredini in Tehran, Khayam Mirzazadeh in Baku and Christen Schultz in Tehran. He was the composer for the Iran National music Orchestra. Having performed with many Orchestras in Iran and abroad, he is also active in the Committee of Iran Youth Orchestra and Music for Film and Animation.
