“Benevolence” is a group exhibition composed of the top 25 photos of the Tirgan 2017 Photo Contest, co-organized by CaféLitt and Tirgan teams. The jury panel of the Photo Contest, composed of Mostafa Ahmadi, Edwin Janzen, Naser Mohammadi, and Sarah Seene, under supervision of the contest secretary, Hamed Tabein, selected the collection of the photos amongst the 499 photos submitted to the contest. The purpose of this exhibition is to inspire the creation of exceptional work through photography and highlight the meaningful content of “Benevolence”, a key element of human morality.
In this exhibition each artist’s creative language is on display for all to see for the duration of the festival. We can evaluate their motivation and goals as perhaps humanity at work towards the promotion of goodness of the mind, spirit and heart. Because these artists have participated from around the world, a full and opulent collection of work is exhibited. The dynamically juxtaposed photographs show varying levels of abstraction coupled with realistic imagery.
We all evaluate the world in the present, remember the past and look forward to the future. Benevolence is the basic foundation and a virtue that all humans are capable of bringing forth. These artists’ intentions are not only to embrace a dialogue among themselves, but also to explore how their minds work with human nature and global goodwill.
Benevolence is a wonderful photography exhibit, worthy of your full attention. CaféLitt and Tirgan are thrilled to showcase Benevolence from July 27, 2017 through July 30, 2017 at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre.
