Bazaar is an experimental World Music project based on folk and regional melodies and motifs from the Middle East arranged for a World Music/Jazz/ Atmospheric feel and soundscape.
This project includes a collection of original compositions by Reza Moghaddas created over a span of ten years for various Film, Theatre and Dance projects including: “Homeland” and “Less than a Half” directed by Setareh Delzendeh and produced by Godot Art Productions. In this project Reza collaborates with Morgan Doctor , an international drummer percussionist and producer, and Sina Momtahan a multi-instrumentalist from Toronto, to bring to our attention a fresh more musically varied take on the above material.

Reza Moghaddas: Keyboards
Morgan Doctor: Drums, Percussion
Sina Momtahan: Baghlama (Saz), Duduk, Guitar, Flute
Peter Bull: Bass
Melissa Noventa: Dance

Bazaar means market in many languages including Persian, Turkish, Greek, and Arabic. Ancient Middle Eastern Bazaars were not merely merchandising arenas at which goods and services were bartered; they were also a gathering space for intellectuals, artists and political activists to meet, brainstorm and exchanged ideas.
