Amir Amirsolaimani (Amiro) is a set designer/architectural consultant / TV director / journalist. Born in April 1954 he earned a B.A. from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Tehran, Iran. He has 25 years of experience in interior design and stag design for movies and television in Iran and Canada. Amir is the Director of Amiro Design Inc. which is a design company he established in 1978 in Tehran where he pursued his artistic and graphic endeavors until 1992. After moving to Canada in 1992 the company resumed its activities in Montreal under Amiro Design Inc. and engaged in office, home and restaurant design as well as other graphic and artistic projects. Having completed a number of superb projects, the company transferred to Toronto in 1998 and became even more active in this vibrant city. At this time, the company, with access to some of the best experts in the field from all over the world, has a strong team in interior and exterior design, geared towards customized and unique designs for discriminating customers. Amiro Design Inc., in cooperation with some of the well-known firms in Canada is able to utilize the best materials available for its various projects. At Tirgan 2015, the company is presenting for the first time, the project “Model Tomb of Cyrus the Great”.
