Kianoush Khalilian

Kianoush Khalilian started professional training in music with distinguished Iranian masters in 1990 and ranked first in the Ney performance competition across Iranian schools nationwide in 1995.
He ranked third in the category of musical composition in Iranian Youth Music Festival, 2009 He is a permanent member of Iranian House of Music (Khaneh Musighi Iran) since 10 years ago, and first class affiliate of the Iranian Institute of Music.
His biography has been published in the book “The Face of Iranian Artists” (Seemaye Honarmandane Iran) authored by Habibollah Nasirifar, 2008 and he has been awarded a First Rate Ney Master Teaching Certificate from the Ministry of Art and Culture of Iran. He also has a Certificate of Iranian Traditional Music (Radif navazi) from maestro Hassan Nahid.
His book, Lessons on Playing Ney, is under publication.Kianoush has performed in over 40 concerts nationwide in Iran and several international concerts including:
