Manoochehr Radin is one of the influential actors and playwrights in Iranian theatre for many decades. His plays such as “Ebrahim Toopchi” and “Agha Beyg,” directed by Rokn-al-din Khusravi, and “A Long Play,” directed by Jafar Vali were remarkably well received in Iran. In the eighties, Radin left Iran and started to work in playwriting, directing, and acting in a theatre in Germany. He founded Hamegan theatre in Frankfurt fifteen years ago. He also directed “All Swedish Capsules,” “Life, Oh, Life,” and “Elegy for Shakespear” in Germany. He has also acted in plays directed by Niloofar Beyzaie (Blind Owl) and Iraj Djanati Atai (A Butterfly in the Fist).
Farhang Kassraei was born in Iran and started his education as an engineer. His interest in writing and theatre came later in life after he left Iran for Germany in the eighties. He sought training in acting for theatre and started his career with Iranian and German theatrical groups. He was also the co-founder of “Mitra” and “Tandis” theatre groups in Frankfurt. Recently, he has pursued acting accompanied by live music. Kassraei is also interested in writing, and his most recent publications include “To,” “Gosast,” and “Marmolak.” He has appeared in many plays including, “Stranger, Like You and Me,” “Blind Owl,” directed by Niloofar Beyzaie, and “The Storm of the Blood Life,” based on one of Sadeq Hedayat’s writings, which he directed himself.
Hermin Eshghi started her training in acting and joined Daricheh Theatre at the age of eighteen. Her acting experience includes roles in “Lady in the Miror City,” “Marjan, Mani and a Few Minor Difficulties,” “The last Play,” “Three opinions about a death,” “Stabbed in the Back,” and “Blind Owl,” directed by Niloofar Beyzaie.
Anahita Jahvani was born in 1990 in Frankfurt. She was practically raised backstage of the theatre. She has accompanied Daricheh company in their tours and performances, and is very familiar with many aspects of stage from technical to recording, and sound and stage preparation. Currently a high school student, she will study theatre, cinema, and television after graduation.
