company.\r\nHis works have been performed around the world, including Adana, Austin, Brussels,Calgary, Dallas, Montreal, Muelheim, Prague, San Francisco, Sidney, Stockholm,Strasbourg, Sulaymaniyah, Tehran, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington. After founding NOWADAYS THEATRE company in 2016, Mohammad Yaghoubi staged the English premiere of his highly acclaimed play A Moment of Silence at 2016 SummerWorks Performance Festival. In March 2019, he mounted the English premiere\r\nof his play The Only Possible Way with Iranian newcomers at Canadian Stage, Upstairs Theatre. It was produced with support of Toronto Arts Council and as part of 2018-19 Canadian Stage RBC Emerging Company in Residence. His recent work was the English premiere of his celebrated play \u2018Winter of 88\u2019 at 2020 Next Stage Theatre Festival.\r\nSelected Awards and Honours: The National Theatre Critics Society Award
