We are excited to let you know that Tirgan is moving online for the time being, following in the footsteps of other leading cultural institutions.In fact, our programming and PR teams are currently working on the production of a series of virtual kids\u2019 programs and we need your help!<\/p>\n

The Project: <\/strong>16 half-hour virtual episodes specially designed for children aged 5-12, to be aired through Tirgan social media<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Position: <\/strong>Working closely with the puppeteer, directors, videographers, and our artistic consultants, you\u2019ll be conducting in-person<\/strong> conversations with guests and performers or leading workshops for filming.<\/p>\n The ideal candidate is able to act, feels comfortable in front of the camera, is fluent in English and Persian, <\/em>and can work around production-related problems like forgotten lines, lighting\u2026etc.<\/p>\n * Please note this is a volunteer position.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dates and Location: <\/strong>The project started in October 2020 and will take three months to complete. Our studio is located near Yonge and Steeles.<\/p>\n * Please note<\/strong> you must be present in the studio for short periods of filming (a couple of hours at a time).<\/strong><\/p>\n *All Covid-19 safety protocols will be in place at the filming location.<\/strong><\/p>\n Application Process: \u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Send us a short video introducing yourself.<\/p>\n Email your video to: kids@tirgan.ca<\/p>\n DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: October 21, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n The selection process is not a judgment of the applicant\u2019s capabilities.
