Levon Haftvan

Levon Haftvan, artistic director of Lemaz Productions & Artists Management, is a stage director, actor, dramaturge and producer from Canada. He works with various International performing arts festivals, markets and venues as artistic adviser, promoter and juror (Fajr, Trans Ameriques, Sibiu, Dora Awards, CINARS & ...). Haftvan holds directing degrees from University of Tehran and Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts. He is fluent in Persian, Armenian, Russian and English languages. As a screen actor, Levon made his major breakthrough in the lead parts of two Iranian controversial movies in 2012-13: "Parviz" (dir: Majid Barzegar) and "Fat Shaker" (dir: Mohammad Shirvani), which has been praised by international and local critics.
