Kevin Langdale (lead animator / designer) , animator and illustration wizard is an award-winning filmmaker and animator. His work incorporates various techniques: animation, stop-motion, experimental, puppetry, and primarily deals with themes of relationships to nature. While producing some wicked animated pieces for Window Horses, he also continues to work as a freelance animator and director with the National Film Board of Canada. He made Engine 317 ,about the building of the Canadian transcontinental railway and its cost to the social and physical environment for the NFB and has also worked as a magazine illustrator for a number of years. Before Window Horses, Kevin collaborated with Ann Marie Fleming for several years on projects as varied as I Was a Child of Holocaust Survivors to Stickgirl’s Planet Green webisodes.
