Azar

Azar is a student and performer of Iranian contemporary dance. Since Fall 2011, she has been performing in various group and individual Iranian and Kurdish performances. She has performed in numerous Multicultural celebrations in Toronto, introducing diverse audiences to Iranian dance. She has also showcased Iranian dance in many Iranian celebrations such as that of Yalda night. Azar also performed as an collaboration with Fethi Karakecili for Mem u Zin  at Isabel Bader Theatre in 2011.She has recently joined Gisoo dance group and performed at the Iranian Heritage Day at The Royal Ontario Museum 2013 as a member of Gisoo Dance.
